Selina

My name is Selina and I have 10 years of teaching experience. I studied English (language and literature) at the University of Bedfordshire, and then went on to receive a PGCE (with QTS) in Primary teaching.I enjoy teaching and seeing my students thrive when they have grasped a concept they may have found tricky at first. Teaching was the best route for me, as supporting and caring for others has always been in my nature.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught learners from the ages of 5-18+ (Primary, Secondary and Adult learning) and also have experience in coaching 17+ learners in Business Management too.

Tutoring Approach

I have been told that my approach to teaching makes it enjoyable for my students as I am very patient, approachable and adapt my teaching style to suit the students’ needs. I learn a lot from my students too, as they bring fresh and exciting ways of learning to the sessions. This is a great challenge for me and keeps the sessions interesting. I am friendly, supportive and get great results by making lessons fun as well an informative.
