I attended Newcastle University for three years studying Mathematics, achieving a Bachelor of Science degree and graduating in July 2023.

I believe myself to be a personable and empathetic person, and appreciate that accepting tuition from a stranger can be a daunting and scary experience for a young student, however I believe that by being approachable, friendly and respectful my lessons can be relaxing and thus effective.

Tutoring Experience

During my time at sixth form I was a prefect and more importantly a peer mentor for the new children coming into the school, who were perhaps finding it difficult transitioning into a more difficult teaching environment or needed extra assistance in their academic endeavours.

Tutoring Approach

I believe everyone learns differently, and having only recently gone through the school system myself I understand this fact exceptionally well. I aim to understand how each individual best learns and tailor each lesson to each individual person based on what works most effectively for them. I consider myself to be a very personable person so I hope that I can create an enjoyable experience, which can only aid the learning experience.
