I am 50 years old, married with 2 grown up children. I have a love of the arts and have recently taken up yoga. I enjoy eating and out and trying different food.

Tutoring Experience

I am a primary teacher with 28 years experience across key stages 1 and 2. I have taught all ages and specialise in key stage 2 tuition, especially SATs prep for year 6 pupils. I have also been a special needs co-ordinator and therefore have developed many strategies to cater for all needs.

Tutoring Approach

I model and scaffold different calculation approaches, especially in arithmetic. I also cover grammar terminology and spelling patterns. After tuition I encourage pupils to work independently in completing follow up homework.
