I have 25 years experience of teaching English. I have been teaching online and at weekends to students in my local area as I have been based in my current school as an AHT for 15 years and tutoring keeps me fresh.

I am AHT of Literacy in a boys’ school in Kent. I have also run two very successful English departments as well as leading on curriculum development in various schools.
I am very good at boosting students’ confidence. I like the students to lead in terms of what they want to learn and how they want to learn as everyone is different. I usually will go and meet the student in person first and discuss their needs and what they are struggling with.
