I am a welcoming and friendly tutor based in Worthing. I am passionate about STEM subjects and their relevance in the world. I aim to provide individualised support to students in order to meet their personal goals, whether that is working towards passing an exam, understanding a particular topic, or just refreshing existing knowledge.
Qualified teacher in Worthing on the DBS update service. I taught Design Technology, and Engineering for 2 years previously. I also taught A Level OCR 3D Design. I currently tutor a variety of subjects based on my skill set. I have recently added Computer Science after completing an intensive 3 month course in Full Stack Development.
I work around the students needs and learning preferences to tailor a plan that works for them. My main goal is to be supportive and constructive. I am experienced in creating individualised resources, modelling examples, scaffolding work, and breaking down tasks into manageable chunks.
