I am a Social Policy and Sociology graduate (2:1, University of Bristol, 2016) now working within Local Government on Adult Education policy. I have a strong academic background (2 A*’s & 1 A at A Level and 4 A*s, 4 As & 4 B’s at GCSE) which I believe was due to my approach to studying and revision technique. I now like to share my knowledge and approach to help other students by making studying and revision more manageable and enjoyable!

Tutoring Experience

Having completed my degree and A levels within the past 8 years, I’m familiar with the exam and revision process. I also have experience of 1-1 tutoring haven worked as an Au-pair overseas.

Tutoring Approach

When first working with a new student, I carry out an assessment to understand their level of knowledge and identify areas for development. I offer structured sessions with a mix of theory and practice questions. I ask parents/students to tell me their exam so I am able to tailor content towards this. After the lesson I set practice questions for the student to strengthen their learning.
