I am an enthusiastic and experienced teacher with a passion for all things Science. I believe all students can be successful with the right support. I very much enjoy working with students one to one, watching them grow in confidence and achieving great results. The pandemic gave me experience in teaching remotely and I am confident in tutoring online if students prefer this.
Tutoring Experience
I taught secondary science for 10 years in schools across West Yorkshire. I have taught Biology up to A-level, and Physics and Chemistry up to GCSE.
Tutoring Approach
Positivity and tailored support. I don't believe in a 'one size fits all' approach and I adapt my teaching to the needs of individual students. I understand the pressure that exams can put on learners and therefore try to make my lessons as effective and enjoyable as possible.
