Sara

I’m a musician specializing in piano performance. I am looking forward to helping students who want to improve their skills in music. I've played piano for most of my life and at the age of 9 I joined the G.Tartini Conservatory, where I studied piano alongside subjects like solfeggio, harmony and music theory, history of music and historical keyboards. I studied extensively with well known teachers such as Teresa Trevisan and Paola Erdas. During this period I received merit bursaries and joined piano masterclasses with pianists such as Flavio Zaccaria. I'm currently receiving piano tuition at the Royal Academy of Music, as part of my music studies within King's College London.

Tutoring Experience

I have experience in teaching students both in middle-school and high-school as well as adult beginners! Also, apart from teaching privately, I am currently working as a Teaching Assistant at Watercity Academy within the King’s- St George project. This project is aimed at providing musical education to primary school children through keyboard and recorder playing but also through fun solfeggio and music theory games.

I want every student to feel comfortable in learning with me. To do so I’m willing to accommodate their individual attitudes and needs, continuously adapting my approach to teaching. In order for students to succeed, I provide them with valuable and transferable study skills, offering a structured method of study tailored to the student’s individual personality and ambitions.
