Qualified, Science teacher with over 20 years experience, producing outstanding results which speak for themselves. I have a great passion for children and their learning process. I am a dedicated, hard worker who is reliable, determined and approachable.
I have a BSc in Pharmaceutical Science and a PGCE in Secondary Science Education. I have taught and tutored for over 22 years in highly academic schools such as the Priory in Edgbaston and Arden in Solihull. I have consistently achieved 100% A* - C with majority of my pupils obtaining grade A / A* and top grade 9’s with the newer grading system. My last post was as Head of Science in a private school. I left in January 2016 to start up my own tutoring business and have been tutoring full time since, with the occasional dipping back into schools as a consultancy role.
I like to see teaching and learning as a joint process with a happy and compassionate environment. I have high expectations for both myself and anyone I teach or tutor. I am versatile and sensitive towards the needs of individuals and like to create lighthearted fun out of serious learning. I currently tutor out of an office space in Knowle.
