Hi, I'm Samin, I graduated from UCL (University College London) with a First in Mathematics, and on the Dean’s List.
I am a friendly enthusiastic tutor who cares about my student's success. The first step to improving at a subject is finding it interesting and enjoyable which is what I aim to do. Personally, I really enjoy mathematics, there's something about the problem-solving aspect of it that brings me such satisfaction, and I try my best to transfer that passion into my students. Having done my GCSEs and A-Levels only a few years ago, I understand all the pressure that a student goes through doing them, and know the most effective ways of preparing for them.

Tutoring Approach

I plan according to my students’ needs, going through topics which they struggle with the most, by explaining these topics then finding specific questions and examples, going through them until my student is confident and satisfied with their understanding of it. I like to teach little tricks to solve questions, which not only make things easier on the student but it also aids their understanding and enjoyment of the topic (I really enjoyed learning things like this when I was doing my A-Levels/GCSEs).
