Samhita

I am currently a first-year medical student at the University of St Andrews.
I enjoy science and took Biology and Chemistry for my A-levels, along with Maths.
In addition to this, I am learning Spanish, French and British Sign Language, after being fluent in English and three Indian languages.

Tutoring Experience

I have tutored GCSE and AS students before, as part of school programmes, and currently I help AS students in my free time with their academic needs and provide advice on university applications, particularly medical school applications.

Tutoring Approach

I believe in showing students the different paths they can take to solve problems, so that they are able to choose which suits them best, and working in the way they wish, as I believe student-led learning, ultimately is more beneficial than traditional lecture-based learning.
Having had multiple teachers throughout the course of my A-levels, I have seen various styles of teaching and how each style has benefits and downsides. My aim, as a tutor, is to use an amalgamation of the different styles to deliver the best support I can for my students.
