I am a self-employed wife and mum offering classes to adults and children of all ages in Spanish, French and Maths. I speak 6 foreign languages and have spent many years living overseas. I am fully bi-lingual in Spanish and English (English is my native language) and am offering classes designed to suit each individual or small group (max 4 people).

Tutoring Experience

I have provided tuition in Spanish, French and Maths for over 20 years now in and among following other career and personal goals.
Whether you/ your child are working towards ISEB/ CE/ GCSE or A Level; need to focus on a particular aspect of grammar or just want to learn a few useful phrases for your next holiday then I will be more than happy to design and structure classes to suit your requirements.

*Apologies that I can't find my A Level or GCSE certificates. The Degree certificate is up there and verified, which you clearly can't get without GCSEs and A Levels. I have requested copies of these from Wycombe Abbey (June 2025) but am still awaiting their response.

Tutoring Approach

Whenever possible, learning should be fun, interesting and exciting. However there are also times when, for example, a big exam is lurking around the corner, when we just have to get on and make progress as fast as possible and be really firm and clear about our objectives.

If you/ your child need to pass an exam - I'll give you/ them all the homework necessary to achieve that.
On the other hand, if you just have a little spare time and want to learn a language or improve your Maths skills, well then we'll have our hour or two together, and then if that's all you have time for, so you're not interested in homework, so be it.
If you have an idea that you want your child to be bi-lingual by the age of 6 - well then I'll have a jolly good go at working towards that for you too!
