I'm a friendly, experienced, team director for a busy marketing agency, looking to help students in the same way I was helped during school.

I wasn't always a straight-A student, and needed tutoring myself when I was in my A levels. I had to find a way to approach learning, revision and exams that worked for me, and I want to offer that same approach to others.

Tutoring Experience

I've been helping people around me with maths since I was in school, and I am still the goto person in my company when we need to do some advanced modelling and financial planning.

I also worked in the education and school outreach team for a space research laboratory, RAL Space. In this job, I was going out to engage with the local community and school children of all ages.

Tutoring Approach

I take a methodical, step-by-step approach, whether that's with algebra, statistical modelling, or trigonometry.

We apply the same thought process. Break things down to the most basic steps, understand them, and repeat with different examples.

It's about building a toolbox, and then being able to identify the tools you need to solve each problem.
