I am an experienced and qualified teacher of both Maths and Design Technology. As a teacher, especially when teaching Maths, I love seeing that 'light bulb' moment when a student finally understands something. Helping students to progress and seeing their confidence boosted gives me a great deal of satisfaction.

Tutoring Experience

I have over 20 years experience in five secondary schools teaching all abilities in Years 7 to 11. I am currently teaching Maths in a school in Hampshire to students with predicted grades ranging from grade 2 to grade 7.

Tutoring Approach

The approach I take always depends on the student. Step by step is good when needed but I will also guide and question in order to develop a deeper understanding towards problem-solving.
