I work part time in Cambridge as a Marketing Manager and have a French degree. Previously, I worked as a teaching assistant across both key stages in a primary school and now enjoy teaching French up to GCSE level. I can tutor on a one to one basis but am also happy to accommodate small groups. I have a relaxed and fun approach to learning and will base sessions entirely on students’ learning needs. Living near Cambridge, I can tutor online, travel to students or tutor at home and can be flexible with times. Happy to help with exam technique and preparation or just to generally improve language skills.

Tutoring Experience

I have tutored to GCSE level and my student last year achieved level 9. Having run a French club for small groups of primary aged children, I am used to working with children of all ages.
Working as a primary school teaching assistant for 5 years, I ran intervention groups and one to one support across both key stages. I lived in France for a year as part of my degree and taught English to primary and secondary classes as well as individuals.

Tutoring Approach

Relaxed approach according to individuals needs. Can help with grammar and vocab practice for written, listening and oral exams for GCSE. I understand the pressure of exams on the whole family as my children have gone through GCSEs with additional tutors to help them reach their potential and manage their workload.
