Hello, I’m Sajida, an enthusiastic Psychology teacher/tutor with a strong passion for helping students unlock their full potential. I have been teaching Psychology for 15 years, and in this time I have developed a solid understanding of the GCSE and A Level Psychology syllabus and exam expectations, know a variety of teaching strategies that aid young people and their learning, and can confidently break down complex theories and concepts into clear, manageable steps. Whether you’re preparing for exams, struggling with essay writing structures, or simply want to deepen your understanding, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
I am currently the Curriculum Leader of Psychology in a secondary school in Hertfordshire, with Psychology being my subject specialism, as well as the KS5 Lead for Teaching and Learning. I have a Masters in Education and have contributed to psychological research/literature.
I have been teaching A Level Psychology for 15 years and GCSE for 6 years, and have a secure knowledge base for the content and exam expectations.
My tutoring style is patient, interactive, and tailored to your individual learning needs, so you can build confidence and achieve great results.
I believe that understanding how the individual learns best is central to effective teaching. I ensure I incorporate teaching methods that are appropriately suited the pupil and work on the areas that require further support and development. I model work, give learners opportunities to share ideas and think inquisitively, build on their critical thinking, apply their knowledge to exam questions and assess work.
