Hello! My name is Saja. I'm a recent English and Drama undergraduate and I love to teach and learn.

Tutoring Experience

I tutored with an agency for two years teaching over 100 classes in that time. I independently lesson planned and set homework. I taught mainly large classes, and did so online, so I'm an expert at keeping a young person's attention. I've completed multiple Safeguarding courses and I am DBS checked.

Tutoring Approach

I adopt a holistic approach to teaching. The student must first feel comfortable, only then will they retain knowledge. Once we've spoken about their strengths and weaknesses, I can solely plan the lesson around them. I would never shame a student for any mistake - I teach that without the mistakes we can never learn. Likewise, I celebrate success!
