I am a friendly, easy-going and patient individual with a passion for maths. I have a Masters degree in Aerospace engineering and am motivated to help younger students reach the same, if not greater, academic success. I am well organised and have great time management skills. I enjoy new challenges and having varied day-to-day interactions.

Tutoring Experience

I have voluntarily tutored two younger individuals at GCSE level, while attending university. The tutoring helped two struggling students achieve at least a 20% increase in their test scores with a foundation built for them to pick up more complex algebra in later school years.

Tutoring Approach

I do not have a fixed approach to tutoring, I try to adapt my teaching style to each individual. The one constant in my approach is ensuring the student understands the core concepts and reasoning behind taking certain actions. In this way, they are not just parrot-learning and can apply their problem-solving skills to a variety of problems both within and outside academic settings.
