Muhammed Safwaan

Hey guys! My name is Saf, I am a chemistry graduate from Imperial College London, a university ranked 6th in the world (QS World University Rankings 2023) and currently a medical student.

Education is a huge passion of mine and I have absolutely loved teaching all of my students, one of whom ranked 3rd in his cohort of 270 for A-Level Chemistry. My students have gone on to study Medicine (University of Southampton [x2], Imperial College London & University of Manchester), Dentistry (Barts and The London School for Medicine & Dentistry), Biochemical Engineering (UCL), Chemical Engineering (University of Birmingham), Pharmacy (King's College London) and Psychology (Cardiff University).

My tutoring career started back at college in 2017 when I began running my own study classes for individuals in my cohort struggling with the new A-Level Linear Exams, it proved a huge success and as a result I was gifted with the Chemistry Award of my college for achievement in academia and contribution to the department. I then carried on tutoring 1st & 2nd year undergraduates at Imperial College London.

Tutoring Experience

-> I have over 4.5 years of tutoring experience in A-Level Chemistry and GCSE Mathematics & Sciences with particularly high specialism in Chemistry

-> I have gathered a high success rate with a 2-3 fold increase in grades

-> I was the first cohort to undertake the new 2017 Linear A-Level Chemistry course and thus have a deep understanding of exam strategies and how to grab all the marks in a paper

-> I have a through understanding of the medical school application process and have a large network of individuals and programs to assist medical school applicants enter medicine

-> I have a thorough understanding of the UCAS process and can assist with personal statement writing

-> I teach on a one to one basis which can be either in person or online

-> I identify the students style of learning and adapt to their needs and capabilities
