Passionate about my subject, very easy-going, friendly, patient. I am currently working with students from all different backgrounds and level of abilities. I do my best to tailor all my lessons to suit to your needs. Lessons can range from production skills on Logic, to playing around with cool synthesisers, to prepping for listening exam questions for A Level. Tutoring Experience

• 4 years working as a Composition tutor at a secondary school
• Coached a number of students on their GCSE/A Level compositions to help get the best grade
• Run a handful of compositional workshops over the years
• Helped young people publish their own music online (soundcloud/spotify)
• Performed or had small ensembles/orchestras perform composition at various venues, including at University of Surrey and the University of Greenwich (Sound/Image 2017)
• 4 years worked as a Teaching Assistant at Stagecoach Blackheath, assisting Early Stages school with Singing, Dancing and Acting class

Tutoring Approach

I would initially start with a 'Get To Know' intro lesson. This should only take around 10mins. This is when we can have a chat over what area or topic you specifically would like us to tackle or work on. If you aren't sure, I can help you dive right into the black hole of Music Technology and from there, we can see what works for you, what you like or what you want or need to know more of. For most students, I have a structured week-to-week schedule with set tasks and learning objectives, but I know some students would prefer to 'go with the flow', depending on mood, creativity on the day, etc. It really depends on you the student, so I will go with whatever would suit you.
