As a Primary school teacher with over a decade of experience, I value tutoring as it helps students reach their learning goals whilst catering directly to their individual needs, away from the busy classroom environment.
Throughout my decade-long career, I’ve helped children meet and exceed their academic targets by identifying individual needs through data analysis, classroom observations, and conversations with families. I tailor each session to suit the child’s learning style, whether that involves using visual resources, real-life problem solving, or building strong reading and writing foundations.
I’ve led curriculum recovery plans after Covid-19, organised large-scale learning events, and supported school-wide initiatives in wellbeing and inclusion. I’ve also worked extensively with children struggling with emotional regulation, dyslexia, autism, and anxiety. I believe that progress comes from understanding the whole child, academically and emotionally.
My approach is patient, structured, and highly adaptable. I believe in building confidence as well as competence, and I create a positive, supportive learning environment where children feel safe to try, make mistakes, and succeed.
Alongside my teaching role, I’ve supported parents, trained other staff, and built a reputation as a dependable, knowledgeable, and creative educator. Whether your child needs catch-up help in Maths or extra support with reading and writing, I offer personalised tutoring sessions that get results.
Available for online or in-person sessions. Let’s help your child grow in confidence and unlock their full potential.
