As a school teaching assistant, I was constantly amazed by how creative and innovative children can be.
But... there just isn't enough time for it in the school curriculum!
That's why I love dedicating my afternoons to helping young folks' imaginations flourish.
I've been a tutor for five years, and I was previously a teaching assistant in West Sussex schools for two years. This experience has helped me to tailor each child's learning to their passions, ambitions and needs.
I have oodles of literacy knowledge and a degree in English Literature & Education.
I also have dyslexia training from the Bristol Dyslexia Centre. It's not my specialism, but it does mean my teaching is now clearer and more multi-sensory than ever (with tonnes of creative ways for children to interact with their learning). We even have special time where young folks can celebrate their successes. They love it!
Enjoyable lessons with songs, quizzes, competitions and games.
Poetry and story-writing built around topics they love.
A boost to your child's confidence at a pace that's right for them.
