I have a real passion for my subject and enjoy passing that on to the future generation of scientists.
I specialise in pupils wanting to pursue a career in chemistry or are on pathways towards medicine and dentistry.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching for 8 years, Head of Chemistry for 4 years and tutoring for 2 years.
Since taking over my department I have transformed it into the highest performing subject in the school, at both GCSE and A Level, through continuous improvement of teaching and learning techniques to get the best out of our students.

Now that my current year 11 and 13 tutees are about to finish their exams, I'm looking to for my next cohort of pupils looking to master Chemistry.

Tutoring Approach

I adapt my teaching to suit the needs of my pupils.
I start off with a baseline assessment which i mark to see exactly where my tutees strengths and weaknesses are.
From there we can work on building a strong foundation of the Chemistry specification.
With this foundation in place we can push towards mastery of the subject.
Over the course of the year lessons can be tailored towards specific needs at specific times such as mock revision, end of topic revision and UCAT preparation.
