We are associated with Ruth for the last 7 years as she initially turored my elder son and now younger son. My kids have really enjoyed Ruth's lessons and we can see the difference it has made to their results. Feedback she gives at the end of each lesson helps us see where our kids are. We're are really pleased with the support our son is receiving from Ruth. She has quickly established a comfortable learning space which is really helping him feel at ease in the sessions. Ruth is an excellent tutor and a lovely lady. My son has autism and is very nervous around teachers but he got on with Ruth instantly. She has a very caring and calm manner and got to know his "foibles" quickly and directed him in a way he understood. She went out of her way to fit in extra sessions before exams and my son achieved the grade needed to stay on in 6th form, which wouldn't have happened without her tutoring. It's a pity we're not going to need her expertise for his 6th form subjects.

We engaged Ruth for help with GCSE English and the results were excellent.
She set just the right level of challenge in the sessions and homework and her thoughtful, engaging approach encouraged better understanding and independent thinking that not only improved on predicted grades in English by 2 points but also brought on marked gains in other subjects.
