I am a friendly, kind, approachable person with a passion for my subject and excellent knowledge of GCSE and A Level English across a range of syllabi. I enjoy reading, going to the theatre, running and enjoying nature, looking after my fluffball of a cat and spending time with people I love.
I have been teaching since 2006 and have taught in three secondary schools and recently doing specialist SEND work for Lincolnshire County Council. I have taught GCSE and A Level as well as the Extended Project Qualification and I have helped hundreds of students to achieve their goals and develop as people.
As a secondary teacher with seventeen years teaching and extensive SEND experience, I approach each student in a child-centred way, catering to their own particular style of learning, personality, interests and ability. I support students to develop resilience, self-confidence and curiosity and I maintain high expectations for all, enabling them to achieve their personal goals.
