Home Tuition for Law and Study Skills in Bedworth

I am a Solicitor with over 11 years post qualification experience. I can teach in the following areas : CRIMINAL LAW, CRIMINAL EVIDENCE, CRIMINAL LITIGATION , ADVOCACY, MOOTING, LEGAL SKILLS, THE ENGLISH LEGAL PROCESS, CIVIL LITIGATION, TORT, HUMAN RIGHTS, LEGAL RESEARCH, USE OF LEGAL TEXT/ ELECTRONIC DATA BASES, GUIDANCE ON ESSAY WRITING.

I can provide teaching at GCSE, AS Level, A Level , undergradutate and post graduate level ( Legal Practice Course, Bar Professional Training Course , Graduate Diploma in Law, Masters).

Tutoring Experience

I have volunteered at an Advice Clinic run by Coventry University. I supervised and mentored undergraduate law students undertaking voluntary work. I provided guidance on the relevant areas of law applicable , what advice should be given and the drafting of any documents. I have also attended problem based learning seminars in criminal evidence, to assist a senior lecturer.

I am a freelance marker for BPP University College. I mark scripts and provide oral feedback during question day marking. I also mark (mock & final ) exam scripts and course work.

I have also judged students as part of a national mooting competition.

Tutoring Approach

I take collaborative approach to tutoring. I don't believe teaching should be a repeating of and memorising of facts. I can take legal concepts and apply them to everyday situations , thereby giving students a practical understanding of the law.
