I am a MSci Medicinal Chemistry graduate from the University of Glasgow. I am a qualified secondary school Chemistry teacher. I am very patient and polite and have excellent problem solving skills. I have helped many students with Chemistry, Biology and Math problems and provided my own course support notes and questions for extra preparation for exams.

Tutoring Experience

I have worked with many students to obtain excellent results from the age of 5 to 50+. I have currently had several Higher students who I helped in Chemistry, Maths and Biology. I have also helped students in National 5 Maths Chemistry and Biology who are coming back to continue and get help with their highers. I have also helped an Advanced Higher Chemistry student and a University student. My dedication and well organised tutoring enables my students to excel and return if they require further tutoring.

Tutoring Approach

I like to find out what the student requires help in. I can provide my own course notes and problems with worked solutions for extra support. I like to go over any problem questions in homework and believe in preparing for exams using past papers. I also ensure that the student becomes confident and is well prepared for their exams. I believe in working hard and it always pays off when the student is confident and does well in the exams.
