Hi! My name is Ruan and I live in Hertfordshire. I love all things current affairs, history, and international/domestic politics.

Tutoring Experience

I'm a recent Masters student where I read International Studies and Diplomacy at SOAS' famous CISD department. I learnt from world renowned academics, and current and former diplomats, civil servants, and journalists. Before that, I studied Political Science at the University of Southampton.

Tutoring Approach

Throughout my educational career I struggled with dyslexia. I had to develop ways of learning different to fellow classmates, but in the end this approach allowed me to achieve my goals as I had to challenge myself and think outside of the box. My approach to tutoring is similar to this: a tailored and bespoke way of learning that can help students achieve what they want to achieve.
