We are very glad we found Roy to tutor my 16 year old son. Before Roy started teaching my son struggled with his English. Roy has been patiently teaching him and it has certainly paid of. My son is doing really well and we are very pleased. Roy is one of the best tutors my son has had and we are very grateful.

Roy is an awesome tutor! He is patient, knowledgeable, and a natural teacher. He obviously takes his own time to prepare very effective lessons to get the most out of the hour. Roy explains what you need, the way you need it, clear and in depth, great help for exam preparation.

A really brilliant tutor, who helped me with my A2 English Literature coursework. I found that Roy was really good at discussing ideas and helping me to structure the actual essay when I was struggling with the comparative element. Overall, it helped my final product become a less chaotic and better structure piece with more original ideas. He also understood the two texts which I was studying and exactly how the course marks the work, as well as providing useful critics.

Roy comes over to us every week to help my son prepare for his GCSE English re sit. I am so glad that we found him. He is quick to determine exactly the areas that need to be focused on, and he explains things clearly. He is always very punctual and I wish we had enlisted Roy's help earlier!

Roy has been my 16 year old sons tutor at our home for many hours over this Easter holiday. Roy is very engaging & knowledgable which has helped our son enormously with his ability & confidence in English. Roy always arrives on time & ready to work for 2-3 hour block sessions. My 17 year old daughter has also taken advantage of him being here and she too has said he's the best English teacher she's ever had! We highly recommend Roy.
