I take a holistic approach to education and my teaching method is very child-centred. Although I offer group sessions only, I do not take a one-size-fits-all approach. I prefer to meet the children I will be teaching and then tailor my lessons to meet their needs. My unique blend of tutoring and academic coaching allows the children I work with to feel comfortable quickly, which places them in a position where they are able to produce their best work. I do not believe in working a child to the point of exhaustion and see real value in allowing them to still have a childhood, so I do not offer homework.
I also offer optional mindfulness and coaching sessions through my youth life coaching business, Life is Rosey, as my own experience in education shows that developing the mindset and confidence of a child leads to much greater progress.
