Tutoring Experience

I have approimately twenty years of language teaching experience. My experience includes work with both native English speakers as well as ESOL learners. I also have many years experience of supporting learners within educational institutions. I have taught and supported learners in Colleges, Universities as well as within local community venues.

Tutoring Approach

My approach is multisensory. Generally I start with a short explanation followed by an example of what is required. A typical examples might include drilling or modelling a required response combined with appropriate intonation or stress. Other examples might require following an instruction or elicit a written response using appropriate grammar, word ordering and or punctuation.
