Roland's Feedback

Roland is an animated teacher who has worked with my daughter to improve her knowledge of French and ensure she knows what is expected of her in her exams so she can achieve the best results.

My children have great fun in Roland’s lessons. He makes learning French really enjoyable.

Roland is a truly fantastic teacher. Really understands all the different styles of learning in our household and is constantly bringing new tools to help engage us. Don't question it, he is brilliant. So glad we found him!

Roland has been fantastic in helping me develop my French from nothing when we started. The lessons are always well structured, with helpful materials and extra work set to help progress.

Rolland has been tutoring my son for his final A Level French exam and is a knight in shining armour. He not only knows all the specifics for exam boards, but as someone who's regularly marked papers himself, he's constantly focused on the final grade and exactly what needs to be done to get the A*. He aims for the highest standard, but is also very encouraging and realistic along the way.

Exams are a stressful time for teenagers and Rolland focuses on preparing students so they have the right tools and organisation, my son is a little chaotic with his study and I feel confident that Rolland is making sure everything is covered.

Most of all, it's obvious how much Rolland cares about his students and making sure they achieve the best results, constantly going above and beyond. I believe he'll help elevate my son's grade to the A he needs (with the right input from my son) and only wish that we'd found Rolland a little earlier to focus on a marathon rather than the sprint at the end!

Roland is an excellent tutor. He is currently mentoring my husband and I in French basics. He makes his sessions fun, he knows his subject and involves both of us.

The materials Roland uses are very good and his explanations of the materials are great.

Roland is very personable and patient with his students.

Roland is a very professional tutor. He knows his subject for 200%. Roland has a lot of material to share (useful handouts, web links, language apps, etc.) which is very useful during the lessons and as a self-study at home. He presents the material in an easy to understand manner (grammar tables, irregular verbs, prepositions , etc.). As the French grammar is difficult and complicated, Roland has a simple way to explain it and make you memorise it forever. I truly recommend Roland as a French teacher.

Roland is simply an excellent teacher. I will highly recommend him to any parent who wants the best for their children. His teaching style is more interactive, very inspiring and he gave my daughter positive feedbacks. He is knowledgeable of the subject. My daughter describes it as one of the best lessons she has had. His ability to build a rapport and made the lesson so fun is highly commendable. We cannot wait for the next lesson.
