I'm a 56 year old specialist mathematics teacher who has recently left teaching to concentrate on tutoring.
I taught in adult education from 1985 to 1987, then spent 1988 tutoring. From 1990 I taught in two London schools, then in 1997 began long-term supply jobs in Liverpool. I worked from 2000 to 2013 in a large Liverpool comprehensive, and have been tutoring since 2013.. At A level I can help with P1, P2 and P3, and Statistics and Mechanics as well as GCSE Foundation and Higher.
I like to make the student feel that they are not under pressure, while at the same time pushing their knowledge further.
I feel that a lot of examination practice is effective and I will place a lot of emphasis on the past papers which I provide.
