I graduated recently with a BA (Hons) degree in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge.

I offer tutoring in Mathematics up to A-Level (including Further Maths), and also in Physics and Chemistry up to GCSE.

I would like to pass on my love of maths, science and problem solving, and aim to make lessons as enjoyable as possible.

Tutoring Experience

I worked as a teaching assistant in maths classes in my sixth form at school, and I also have experience tutoring online.

I have an enhanced DBS certificate.

Tutoring Approach

I teach using a problem-based approach, first assessing individual needs on a topic by topic basis in order to identify gaps in knowledge and understanding. My aim is to ensure the understanding of each topic is as complete as possible.

In each lesson, I start by going through the key concepts, then spend most of the time working through examples and problems, This is the most effective way to judge where gaps in understanding and knowledge lie.
