I am a Cambridge University Engineering graduate who has lectured at the University of Bedfordshire for 14 years. I have five A levels (four at Grade A and one B) and 10 O levels (all grade A).I have two children who have both got through the 11 plus exam and both have completed a maths GCSE. I have recently retired from teaching full time however I continue to teach A level Computer Science (OCR spec) at a local grammar school.
I have over 25 years teaching experience in further, higher and secondary education. This has been on subjects including computer programming and computer graphics however maths is something which I know well and am passionate about. For the last six years I have taught Computer Science at local grammar schools. I have taught the OCR Computer Science A level for the last 5 years.
I like to listen,to observe and to find out where the gaps in understanding are. I like to use examples and visual methods where possible.
