Rikki

Hello! My name is Rikki, I am 25 years old and I am a passionate teacher of humanities (specialising in Religious Education). I love providing engaging and fun lessons in History, RE, Government and Politics, Philosophy and Ethics, and English Language and Literature. I can work on a one to one basis or with a group of learners. I am extremely flexible at the moment owing to the summer holidays and I am happy to meet face to face or online.

Tutoring Experience

I have 3+ years experience tutoring SEND and EAL children and young adults, alongside many other learners - each learner has different learning needs! I am a newly qualified secondary school teacher of RE / humanities and have recently completed my PGDE. I have worked in schools teaching children and young adults since 2017. Tutoring Approach

When teaching, I always ensure that the learning is scaffolded to fit the needs of all learners. This prepares learners to not only build their skill in the subject but to build their confidence too. Then, when the exams arrive, the scaffolds can be gently taken away for independent exam completion.
