I am 26 years old and I have studied for a degree BA Hons in Business Management from The University of Hull. I love to learn and explore new/different things. I also teach in my spare time. I like to do research on studies and what future opportunities there are available for me to help me in my professional life.

Tutoring Experience

I developed an interest in teaching when I was in Sixth form, I volunteered to teach Maths and English to year 7's who needed extra support. I have also taught English and Maths to various students who are in years 4, and 5, supported year 6 students to prepare them for their SATS, and also provided support for students in Years 9 and 10's to prepare them for GCSEs. I have 9 years of online teaching. I have supported students who need a little confidence booster due to COVID-19. After the completion of my degree, I developed an interest to assist students who are going through the same degree program.

Tutoring Approach

I would be more than happy to teach students who find it hard to understand something using different methods and ways. I make learning fun for my students by finding interactive and fun ways of getting students to engage in areas they need a little confidence.

• Motivate students, guide, and mentor them.
• Regular tutoring for primary and secondary-level students
• I am very patient and would use different examples/techniques for students to understand.
• Providing students with practical examples to explain concepts.
• Asking students to teach back what I have taught them which outcomes as a revision tool for them.
• Asking them to make notes using a variety of images and colours to remember what they have been
taught.
• Sometimes giving out homework for analysing their weaknesses or if the work is incomplete from lessons.
• Making sure they have been given a revision worksheet to complete on any upcoming tests/exams.
