A fully qualified and experienced classroom teacher, I have taught in Secondary and Further Education since 2007. I have over 10 years' experience teaching Maths. mostly at GCSE Foundation and Higher Tier. Maths GCSE examiner with Pearson in 2023.
Currently working in local secondary schools as a Maths supply teacher and also doing private GCSE Maths tutoring for summer 2024.
Tutoring availability Monday and Friday daytime. Friday after school. (GCSE and KS3 Maths).
Tutoring Experience
Many years experience so I have the knowledge and resources to cover all areas of KS3 and KS4 Maths. For 9.5 years I taught Maths at Folkestone College where I also did extensive work in small group interventions and 1-1 exam preparation.
Tutoring Approach
I have a calm manner and a good track record of building confidence in my students. Able to use a range of resources to suit the student, my aim is to get them thinking for themselves and engaged with Maths.
