I’m a freelance tutor living in both Lancashire and Berlin. I studied chemistry at the University of Durham and then later studied music at the Royal Northern College Of Music. I worked for a few years in the science department at Walkden High School in Salford and have years of experience working with children in various roles. I have a real passion for Maths, Science and Music and would love to be able to help your child discover these subjects. I also have personal experience of dyslexia and dyspraxia and would be delighted to be able to help children who struggle with these conditions

Tutoring Experience

As above I have a few years working in the science department at a high school in Salford. I also have experience tutoring children in groups and individually particularly with regard to maths and primary school music

Tutoring Approach

The most important aspect for me is for the pupil to find their regular lessons in school engaging and enjoyable so that they can begin to develop and hopefully excel. To this end I would discuss with the parents and child their hopes and goals for the sessions and then devise a plan to get the most out of each weeks lesson. Happy to incorporate dyslexia/dyspraxia coping sessions, revision tips, exam prep into sessions at the request of the parent or child.
