I and a qualified teacher and Head of Year 11 at an Outstanding school (2023). Geography is my passion, and love exploring/walking around Surrey. I am married with one child and a dog. I believe my approach is supportive and encouraging.
I have been teaching Geography for 16 years, I have very good knowledge of GCSE AQA but currently teaching Edexcel spec B.
I believe a range of techniques to support with tuition is required. From practice questions, to supporting with revision techniques (flash cards, mind maps, revisiting content and inter levering content). As part of my teaching role, being Head of Year means supporting students and their preparation for exams. I have led someone of the school most successful results over my career.
