Richard

Richard has extensive experience with private education. He attended a boarding school, Maidwell Hall, from the age of seven. After this, he studied at Marlborough College, Wiltshire. He completed his bachelor's degree at the University of London and qualified as a teacher being awarded a PGCE. He also attended the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst where he trained to be an officer in the British Army and was a Captain in the Welsh Guards. He has experience running his own business and has travelled and worked in Asia.
He has full DBS clearance and has four school aged children that attend independent schools. His wife is also a teacher.

Tutoring Experience

Richard has been doing private tuition with a specialism in Maths and Non-Verbal Reasoning at 11+ and 13+. Interview preparation and advice including mock interviews can be arranged. His students have successfully been awarded places at Westminster, St Paul’s, Eton, Harrow, Wycombe Abbey, Cheltenham Ladies’, City of London, Hampton and many others including academic scholarships.
