I'm an Artist Educator and Facilitator living in South East London. I deliver creative arts sessions to people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds in a variety of settings such as schools, hospitals, museums and care homes. I have a BA in English Language with Creative Writing and an MA in contemporary Fine Art. I have a two year old son who loves all kinds of messy play, and I also have a car so can get around easily.
I have 6+ years experience teaching adults, young people and also people with additional needs. I currently work in a school once a week teaching year 7 and also on a paediatric ward in St Mary's hospital and a Neuro Rehabilitation ward for adults in Charing Cross Hospital.
I am experienced in all forms of visual arts including painting and drawing, printing, sculpture, textiles, sensory arts, design and crafts.
I believe in the therapeutic benefits of the arts and that participatory arts should be accessible to all. Some of my key objectives are to promote self expression and wellbeing through using artistic tools and techniques.
My approach is highly personable, enthusiastic, educational and inspiring. Whether it's a one-off session, or longer term long relationship, I aim to make the experience enriching and memorable!
