She's clearly very experienced, knows how to teach and helps you improve. I like the emphasis on dynamics and technique even for basic pieces.

Rebecca is a great violin teacher; she is patient and very kind. My 12-year-old son is enjoying her lessons and has gained confidence in learning to play the violin. She is motivating, and I would recommend her as a teacher.

Just had a great first lesson with Rebecca. She is very good at explaining things as clearly and simply as possible. She is also extremely patient and calming which is very helpful when I'm making consecutive mistakes. Looking forward to my next lesson!

Only had one violin lesson so far, but can't wait for the next one! I have struggled to play in front of any audience for years yet feel completely at ease playing for Rebecca. Her friendly, approachable manner towards the lesson makes it all the more easier to learn. Already feel like I'm learning loads. Excellent teacher - would highly recommend to anybody :)

Such a wonderful teacher. She makes you feel at ease with the instrument even if you're a complete beginner. Highly recommend others to take classes with her! :)

Rebecca has a lovely manner with her students and totally makes them feel at ease whilst also listening to their input into the lesson.
My eldest daughter has a problem with confidence in her own abilities and was extremely nervous for her first lesson - I basically had to force her to go and she was so nervous she didn't eat much all day at all so I was so happy when half way through the lesson she herself mentioned in the conversation "when I come back next week can we do… ".
Rebecca is very softly spoken and very quick to pick up on what the pupil needs even when she hasn't read the text being used in the classroom. She was also very quick to confirm whether my daughter was currently due to take any specific exams/tests in the near future so that she could make sure that this could be addressed.
I would highly recommend Rebecca to anyone looking for an English tutor and I'm sure my daughter will be well on the way to an A in her Nat 5 in a couple of years time.

I have just had my first lesson with Rebecca and I'm already looking forward to the next one. She is a great teacher. Her patience and care throughout the lesson meant I was able to relax and learn a lot.

Due to personal circumstance my mother who started taking the lessons from Rebecca had to stop the classes. For the lessons taken Rebecca has been very attentive and flexible with our time table.

She is very helpful, good listener and friendly.

Rebecca is an excellent tutor for my daughter. Nothing has been too much trouble for her. We have asked a lot of Rebecca as we needed someone to tutor an IGCSE English exam, which has proved difficult in the past. The same evening we had asked, Rebecca had thoroughly researched the IGCSE content and syllabus and was prepared to help.

Rebecca is very easy going, has a lovely, pleasant nature and puts my daughter at ease all through the lessons.

I have no doubt that when they meet for their tutoring sessions Rebecca has fully prepared the lesson with much thought, care and professionalism.

As a result, my daughter has more confidence going into her exam and even feels/hopes she may do better in this subject now than her favourites. All due to Rebecca's tailored tutoring.

Honestly, I can't recommend Rebecca highly enough.
