Hello! My name’s Rebecca and I’ve been tutoring Science and Maths at GCSE/ A level for the past 8 years. I love teaching and have a special interest in science and maths. I also work as a doctor and am especially well suited to any aspiring medicine/ healthcare students who need advice/ help with their university applications! In my free time I volunteer as a brownie leader at my local unit and love running!
I’ve been working as a private tutor for the past 8 years and have taught several students right through from GCSE to A level. I have experience teaching school level pupils as well as university students. My experience includes 1:1 tutoring sessions as well as small and large group teaching sessions.
I have a friendly and relaxed approach to my sessions. I like to structure the time around explaining concepts then putting them into practice by going through exam questions together. I’ve found that getting lots of practice with past exam questions is key when it comes to success at GCSE/ A level and I encourage all my students to practice as much as possible between our sessions. I’m very flexible and open to structuring the sessions however students feel best suits their learning style. Ultimately I like my tutoring to be fun and engaging and I often find this inspires hard work and great grades!
