I am an experience biologist with a real love and passion for my subject. I have an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science and masters degree in Human and Molecular Genetics and a further 6 years experience working in biological research laboratories.
Now I am turning my passion and experience to teaching.

Tutoring Experience

I have been tutoring since December 2024 and love helping my students achieve their goals.

I gained a teaching qualification in the Armed Forces where I taught military skills and first aid.

Tutoring Approach

For online lessons I create interactive presentations with a combination of teaching slides and practice exercises, which are personalised for your specific learning style, then I reinforce learning using past paper questions and offer marking for full past papers.

For in person lessons I teach directly from the official textbooks, create personalised worksheets and information sheets, then reinforce learning with past paper questions and offer marking for full past papers.

In the first lesson we will discuss your aims for our lessons and your preferred learning styles, then create short term and long term goals to achieve these aims. These will be reviewed regularly, to ensure you are getting the most out of our lessons.
