I am LSE graduate looking to take on students who are preparing for their social sciences GCSE and A-Levels. I am very familiar with History, Economics, English, Maths, Further Maths and Spanish subjects, having taken these exams myself at school.
I am currently taking some time off my work in finance and would like to spend time preparing children for their advanced education.

Tutoring Experience

I was previously a tutor during my time in sixth form. I would tutor younger students for their GCSE exams in Maths, History, Economics and English.
I have also spent time as a primary school teaching assistant in Nicaragua, working with an NGO and their teachers in delivering quality education to rural communities in the country.

Tutoring Approach

I think students learn best when they understand the topics well. Especially when it comes to social science and essay based subjects they key is to be able to have a good grasp of the key concepts in order to form your own argument.
Therefore, my teaching style focuses on making sure students get a good foundational understanding of the subject and then working with them through discussion and debate (almost like in a university tutoring hour) of the topics for them to become experts on the subject.
