I am a new master's student at the Barcelona School of Economics.
I really enjoyed studying Economics, and received a first-class qualification from the University of Nottingham. I also received multiple scholarship offers from top universities (Bocconi International Award from Bocconi University in Milan, and TAship offer from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver).
I also achieved A's at A-level in Maths and Chemistry and am more than willing to help with those subjects too!
I routinely held revision sessions for other university students to help them attain good grades in economics. I was also a Peer Mentor at Nottingham, helping first year students settle into life at university and aiding with the jump up in work load to university. At school, I would often end up teaching those around me the content that they did not understand with regards to Economics, and was endorsed by the teacher to do so.
I also am a GCSE mathematics tutor outside of First Tutors.
I have taught more economics students recently, one student this year went from a D to one mark off an A.
I usually let the student(s) try to tell me what they know by having them try to teach me the content or answer questions I will have written out beforehand. This allows me to see exactly what they may be getting hung up over, and then I can use new explanations to allow them to understand the content.
I prefer knowing exactly the topics that want to be covered beforehand, so I can get some resources together to help.
