I obtained Master degree in Education Management in Poland and Postgraduate Diploma in Pure Mathematics. I have also obtained Certificate in Teaching A-Level Mathematics through National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics. As a teacher I regard myself to be confident, enthusiastic and hardworking. I am also a highly motivated teacher who thrives off challenges and is dedicated to help students strive towards what they want to achieve.

Tutoring Experience

I have worked in education for the past 17 years and during this time I have learnt a lot about the different aspects of being a school teacher. Over last 6 years I have been working in secondary schools in Yorkshire, West Midlands and London as senior leader responsible for Mathematics faculty and various strategic areas of a school. I am also specialist examiner for Edexcel. I strongly believe that through this experience I have the skills to successfully tutor your child.
I have over 400+ hours of experience tutoring at GCSE and A level with a 100% success of students reaching their goals, many greatly surpassing these goals. I therefore have learnt how to fully adapt and alter my teaching techniques in order to specifically suit any student. I will also make sure to have a personalised plan set out from the very first session in order to give every student an idea of what we need to do in order to help them understand their goals, and to give them the enthusiasm they need to reach them.

Tutoring Approach

I always seek to build confidence while developing a complete understanding of the course. I feel it is essential to comprehend the course rather than focus on grades. Truly learning the core fundamentals of a subject will allow students to think outside the box and with that comprehension will they be able to further progress. Areas that the student finds particularly challenging are identified, then tackled in a logical, systematic manner and exercises recommended for the consolidation of learning. Effectiveness is prioritised over efficiency.
By using resources such as Mathswatch, Hegarty Maths, Corbett Maths and dedicated Edexcel, AQA resources I have been able to direct my students to learn topics themselves and take responsibility for their own learning.
