I am a Chartered Geographer and Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and am an Accredited Lead Practitioner. I am currently the Head of Geography in one of the country’s leading grammar schools and secure excellent grades for my students and across my department.
I have taught for 11 years and am a current teacher so have excellent understanding of the geography GCSE and A level requirements.
I am also currently undertaking a Masters at the University of Oxford.

I have taught in a range of comprehensive and selective schools across Oxfordshire, inner city London and Buckinghamshire. I am a full time teacher and teach students of all ages as well as mentoring and training staff.
I aim to explain concepts as clearly as possible in order to help students understand and recall content. I get to know each individual student and their needs and provide regular feedback in order to help student progress. I encourage recall of content from previous lessons to help students remember information. I have experience of teaching students of all abilities and have delivered staff training in supporting SEN and EAL learners as well as supporting and challenging the most able learners too.
