I am a passionate and enthusiastic educator with a great love of the subjects I teach. I have recently retired and am keen to continue to help young people achieve their potential.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught Latin, Classics and History for 36 years in a range of independent schools, both girls’ only and co-educational. My last post was at Berkhamsted School where I taught for 17 years until retiring in August. I have also held a wide range of pastoral posts during my career including being Head of Boarding.

I believe in helping a student to enjoy the subject, to grow in confidence and to support the student to reach their goals.
